When in Tanzania you will want to know some basic things to be a polite guest in their country. "hodi" is hello, please and thank your are "tafadhali' and "asante". Those were the basics but the national language of Tanzania is Swahili so for more that would be the language to translate to. Greeting one another great sign of respect so do it often. When at one of Tanzanias many markets DO barter as it is a common thing to do when looking to purchase.
 
 
 
 
Food
 
A common food in Tanzania that is tasty to eat and easy to find is pilau. Pilau is rice dish with spices mixed into the water as it is cooked. The spices vary but the main ones are: cloves, curry, cumin, cinnamon, and hot peppers. This is a fun and tasty dish to try when traveling to Tanzania.
 
Climate
 
When visiting Tanzania you will want to pack your summer clothes. Tanzania has a mainly Tropical climate but in the Northwestern regions it's a little cooler so you will also want to pack pants and a sweatshirt.
